UPDATE: June 6, 2020

Dear Chapel Family,

We are beyond excited to officially release our new logo & re-branding changes this Monday to the public! It’s been a long journey, but we feel that this is important as we continue to follow one of The Chapel’s values to STAY RELEVANT, reflect more of who we are, and to make it easier for new guests to get connected and take their next steps.

But that’s not all…we are just one weekend away from re-opening our doors at all campuses to worship together. Please continue to pray for our team that works hard behind the scenes to make sure that everything is ready, inviting and safe.

As you prepare to return, here are three next steps to remember:

  1. ADD GRAPHIC…

  2. As we will open for Early Childhood (Infants – preschool), please take a moment and CLICK HERE to register your child prior to the service. You can also text CHAPELKIDS to 419-504-1777.

  3. We need your help to volunteer - If you are available to help, CLICK HERE or text OPEN to 419.504.1777.

As part of the services this weekend, we will share a new video of the Top 10 Things to Know as we gather again.  We will also share this video later in the week on social media. Please share this video to let people know about our plans and what to expect as we return to gather in person. If you want more details on our plans, please request a copy of our latest operational guidelines, which addresses most of the detailed questions that people have asked.

In the past few weeks, we have all been forced to acknowledge the harsh reality that racism still runs rampant in our nation. We are deeply saddened by the death of George Floyd and the trauma that it has caused for so many. Since we pre-record our messages in advance, we are not able to address this issue in our weekend service, but wanted you to know that it is still very much on our hearts and minds. We will share a dedicated update on this important topic via social media soon.

WATCH

Starting on Saturday at 5pm, we will continue our message series: “Genuine – Guidelines for Living from Romans 12:9-21”. This weekend, Pastor Mark and Pastor Jay share from the Apostle Paul’s words in verse 12 & 13 to “Care for Ourselves and Care for Others”.

This weekend is special in a variety of ways:

  1. The video was recorded on location at one of our all-time favorite places - Cedar Point.

  2. The message this weekend will give you the opportunity to interact with us during the message…so make sure to have your cell phone available.

  3. We will be celebrating communion together at the end of the service, so please have some common elements (bread or crackers / water or juice) available.

There are a variety of ways to watch:

You can always find an audio version of the current weekend message on your favorite podcast app. Just search for “The Chapel – Sandusky” (or insert your campus). If you subscribe, like, or turn on notifications, you will receive updates automatically.

Missed any messages? Go to https://www.thechapel.tv/messages (audio) or on our YouTube channel for video (http://youtube.com/c/TheChapelFamily or search for “The Chapel Sandusky”). There is now a playlist of all “Weekend Services” available for you to find them easier.

New Here?

If this is your first time tuning in with us, please let us know by texting NEW to 419.504.1777 or CLICK HERE to let us know about your experience. If you do, we will make a donation in your honor to benefit our Crisis Fund to assist people with financial needs inside and outside our church walls.
